Full-Time or Part-Time

General English Course (CRICOS 072892G)

This course is designed to help students learn and improve their English.  CCEB has General English classes from Elementary to Advanced level.  Students progress from one level to another when they meet accepted course outcomes for each level in all skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Course Duration

  • Full time: 20 hours in-class /week + 5 hours /week self-study or activity
  • Part time: 15 hours in class /week (Not suitable for students holding a student visa)

Study Modes

  • Students are given a placement test on their first day and are placed in the appropriate level class
  • Teachers use a variety of teaching methods to meet a range of learning styles and cultural backgrounds
  • Progress monitoring

  • Highly-qualified and experienced teachers
  • Free after-school practice (reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar) (Full time students only)
  • English only policy at CCEB

If any start dates fall on a QLD or National public holiday, course will commence on the next business day
