  • 2010 April: Cairns College of English opened
  • 2012 September: NEAS Accreditation
  • 2012 September: ACPET member
  • 2012 October: CRICOS registered
  • 2012 December: Began offering IELTS exam preparation, Customer Service and Cambridge exam preparation courses
  • 2013 March: Lake67 tour desk and café opened underneath CCE to students and public
  • 2013 October: RTO accreditation
  • 2013 January: Cairns College of Business opened and began offering Certificate IV in Business and Diploma of Management courses
  • 2013 October: CCE awarded Export Award by QLD Japanese Chamber of Commerce for Emerging Exporter 2013

  • 2016 October: Premier of Queensland Export Awards 2016 Education & Training Award Winner
  • 2016 December: 54th Australian Export Awards National Finalist

Cairns College of English is a member of Study Cairns, the peak industry body for the education and training industry in Far North Queensland.  Study Cairns is led by representatives from schools, English- language, vocational training, and other tertiary institutions, and works closely with all levels of government to promote the growth of the education industry.
